On April 27 th , 2023 the Detroit Lions selected Jahmyr Gibbs with their first and the 12 th overall pick of the NFL draft. Gibbs a multi-position and multi-conference All American with the University of Alabama from the SEC and the Georgia Institute of Technology in the ACC, became one of the highest drafted running backs in the NFL in recent years and the second highest running back in the Nick Saban’s era at the University of Alabama.

From a young age, Gibbs displayed immense potential and a natural aptitude for the sport.
